Welcome to our 2011-2012 retreat season!
The 10th anniversary of
9/11, national financial chaos, earthquakes, tornadoes, tragic car accidents, cancer, shootings in our neighborhoods, "Irene":
it is not surprising that some are asking, "Where is God?"
During this year's retreat
we are going to ask "Where is God?" with the hope that together we will discover God very much
in our midst.
The FDNY Retreat is a highpoint for us at Bishop Molloy each year. We feel enriched
by your presence, your camaraderie, your faith, and your willingness to share some of your struggles. This year
the annual Memorial Mass for your fallen brothers and sisters will have very special significance.
The suggested
retreat offering is now $195.00. (It costs us $250.00 per retreatant!). We continue to require a non-refundable deposit of
$50.00 to hold a space for you.
Please, send your deposit along with a printable reservation form right now while
you are thinking about it. Do you know someone in the department who is younger whom you could invite
to join you on this retreat? Maybe they will say "Yes" if you invite them to come with you!
