How long is a retreat?
A retreat weekend begins with a dinner on Friday night (7:00pm) and concludes after Mass on Sunday at noon. In addition to retreat conferences, various presentations are offered as well as prayer services and Eucharistic celebrations. You are encouraged to attend, but nothing is mandatory. A retreat is a personal creation and some people come to simply get some rest, while others enjoy the wonderful Christian community. The Passionist hospitality is unbeatable and the Retreat House and Monastery grounds are a beautiful and peaceful experience.
What do I need to bring?
All meals are provided as well as bed linens and towels. Dress is
casual so you can bring whatever is comfortable. You should bring all toiletries or other special needs, but the Retreat House is close to stores if you happen to forget something. For more specific questions like special diets and handicapped access, please contact the Retreat House weekdays during regular business hours
at (718) 739-1229.
