The Father and I will Come
and Make Our Home With You!
John 14:23

Forgiveness is at the heart of what it means to be a Christian and it is also at the heart of this year's retreat. And while the saying "home is where the
heart is" is true, it is also true that home is also where God is. Imagine - God wants to pitch his tent with you! This year's retreat theme is: The
Father and I will come and make our home with you. (Jn I4:23). During this year's retreat we will take into account the very ideas of home and
forgiveness. We will consider the importance of prayer and Eucharist, friendship and fidelity. The opportunity to participate in the sacrament of Reconciliation will be highlighted with a reflection on the sacrament itself.

As always your Retreat Team has worked very hard to provide a prayerful atmosphere in which individual retreatants can spend time receiving spiritual input through prayer services, Eucharistic celebrations, various presentations, meditation, the sacrament of reconciliation and the use of sacramentals. We also feel that it is important to provide the opportunity for relaxation and personal reflection and time to be alone with God. We strongly believe that such a balanced program will bring graces and blessings to our retreatants.

A peaceful experience

Why make a retreat?

To find peace and a way to grow spiritually.
To deepen relationships at home or work.
To heal and find refreshment.
To celebrate your faith and to find the courage to face the future.

Practical Stuff...
Casual clothes and personal toiletries are enough. A comfortable room, towels, linens and all meals are provided by Bishop Molloy. You will receive a smile along with a welcome packet and program schedule when you arrive.

Our suggested offering is far less than a typical weekend away. Moreover, it is our policy that no one should deny himself or herself a retreat because they cannot afford it. We ask that you give what you can, when you can. Some people put the offering on a credit card and pay through the year. Please contact the retreat house for more information about programs, dates and registration. Consider yourself invited!

What is a typical retreat weekend like?
The retreat team and staff organize the weekend experience. From Friday evening until Sunday noon, your retreat will consider a central theme. There are scheduled presentations, prayer and Reconciliation services, Masses, opportunities for private conference and for personal prayer, reflection, socializing and rest.
